Too Much Discontent in Congregation Part 1
by Simon Templar ini am seeing and hearing many, many long-time jws openly expressing problems with either the watchtower society itself, the publications, changing doctrine, incorrectly living their lives as a result of bad doctrine, the behavior of the boe and other related things.
i will share some of these things in several posts, because there are just too many of them.
the complaints that i hear from publishers and pioneers are many.

As weird as it sounds, I can picture a few people I knew that could "whisper" the F word under their breath to show their discontent when really at the end of their rope. -

Does the Federal employment law requiring notice of 60 days of mass layoffs apply to Watchtower Corporation?
by truthseeker inyes, bethelites are unpaid volunteers/employees.. this mass firing of bethelites in the us will prove to be a drain on state and local government finances as many of these bethelites will seek government assistance.. can it be said that the federal employment law applies to bethel?.
a federal law called consolidated omnibus budget reconciliation act ... act (warn) requires larger employers to give employees notice 60 days before an ... layoffs, which are defined the same as above but occur in stages over a period of 90 days.. http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/layoffs-plant-closings-know-rights-33596.html.
notice requirements.

Let's get some perspective.... Tell some JW, "Jesus had a legal department... yep, he did.... and when James, Peter & Paul wanted to join him, they had to sign a paper to join a "Special Order" before he would let them... "
WaaaUUUUuuuuuuuWaaaa.... Doesn't that sound creepy?

The longest minute?
by Simon inwhich is longer, a treadmill minute or a microwave minute?.
... or every minute of every thursday meeting when you wanted to get back home in time to see red dwarf and some elder who loved the sound of his own voice had the mic..

Gross hypocrisy in September 15, 2015 Watchtower
by Island Man inask any jw the question "why do jehovah's witnesses impose their views on others?
we do not impose our views on anyone!".
do you impose your views on others?

"....The couple had a right to choose for themselves whether they would follow a certain diet and take the supplements, but was it reasonable to put the unity of the congregation at risk over health care? For a time, Christians in ancient Rome had differing opinions with regard to eating certain foods and observing certain days. What advice did Paul give them? Regarding the latter, he said: “One man judges one day as above another; another judges one day the same as all others; let each one be fully convinced in his own mind.” It was important not to put a stumbling block before others.—
What is interesting to me, are the two contradictory statements the WT always uses......"Choose for yourselves... don't stumble others"
Bottom line? Don't choose for yourself, choose for others.
Cognitive dissonance at it's finest, Right?

red flag to a bull those carts can't resist !
by possum inwent to a market yesterday and there it was a cart manned by a middle-aged women and a young one.
in a really respectful, friendly manner i approached them and enquired if watchtower society had done anything about its "two witness policy" post royal commission.
knew nothing of 2 witness rule.

Magazine Demo
by OzGirl intwo sisters did a magazine demo recently.
one used her tablet to show a scripture to the other one.
the second one said: "that looks easier than trying to find it in a book.".
-
cha ching
Right on, Divergent! I always said, "what difference does it make where you read the scripture from, it says the same thing!!!" It drove me crazy... Sooooo glad I do not have to try and figure this insane type of reasoning out anymore! -

Warwick Safety Orientation
by wifibandit inwelcome to warwick safety orientation!
each warwick volunteer is required to view the entire three-hour program and complete the five short quizzes one week before arriving at warwick.
to benefit fully from each of the five sections, we recommend that you set aside time in a quiet location with minimal distractions and give the program your full attention.

Was Jesus a hypocrite?
by James Mixon injesus spoke of loving your enemy, matt.5:43, luke 6:26, but look what is said in.
mark 16:51,16 "go preach but who ever does not believe his ass will be set on fire".. i don't think that is good news.
hell if that is love, what the hell is hate.

Haha Nicolaou! Good one!
I also was bother by the double standards of Jesus, and "us"...
HE could get mad at the money changers, call them for what they were, but WE had to "turn the other cheek" when robbed and lied too by "our brothers" o/wise we weren't "Christ like"
